To really provide the best possible life for our children, it is necessary to teach them to have a relationship with God and the first step in doing that is getting your baby baptized... The fruit of Baptism, or baptismal grace, is a rich reality that includes forgiveness of original sin and all personal sins, birth into the new life by which man & a woman become an adoptive son & daughter of the Father, a member of Christ and a temple of the Holy Spirit. By this very fact the person baptized is incorporated into the Church, the Body of Christ, and made a sharer in the priesthood of Christ.”

To Baptize your child, you will need the following:

1. Child must be 0-6 years old
2. Completed Baptism Registration
3. Need to be a registered parishioner (if not
   please fill out the attached form). If you are
   from a different parish, we will need a letter
   giving you the parent permission to baptize
   here
4. Copy of child’s birth certificate
5. Stipend of $75
6. Parents & godparents attend a Baptismal
   class. If attending a baptism class at a
   different Catholic parish must bring proof of
   completion
7. Parents schedule an interview with our parish

God parent(s)

• There is to be only one male sponsor or one female sponsor or one of each

• Single godparent(s), Provide copy of Holy
  Sacrament of Confirmation certificate.
• Married godparent(s), Provide copy of
  Marriage certificate through the church.
• EACH godparent must have “Sponsor /
  Godparent Certification for Baptism &
  Confirmation” form filled out completely.

Para bautizar a su hijo, necesitará lo siguiente:

1. El niño(a) debe tener entre 0 y 6 años.
2. Registro completo de bautismo
3. Debe ser un feligrés registrado (si no, completa el formulario adjunto). Si usted es de una parroquia diferente, necesitaremos una carta de su parroquia que le dé permiso a los padres para bautizar aquí.
4. Copia del acta de nacimiento del niño(a)
5. Estipendio de $75
6. Los padres y padrinos asisten a una clase bautismal.  Si asiste a una clase de bautismo en una parroquia católica diferente, debe traer un comprobante de finalización.
7. Los padres programan una entrevista con nuestra parroquia

Padrino(s): 

• Debe haber solo un padrino masculino o una madrina femenina o uno de cada uno
• Padrino(s): Padrino(s) soltero(s), prueba de que recibió el Santo Sacramento de la Confirmación.
• Padrino(s) casado(s): prueba de que recibió el sacramento de matrimonio por la iglesia católica (no por lo civil)
• CADA padrino debe tener el formulario de “Certificación de Patrocinador / Padrino para Bautismo y Confirmación” completamente completado. Se han adjuntado dos formularios a este paquete.
